Mr. Cody Kunze,
Cho Dan
Dan #36041
I began training in Tang Soo Do at
the age of 5 at the YMCA. Mr. Joe Centrone was my
instructor when I began, and is still my instructor today.
At age 6, I transferred to the Pal Che Tang Soo Do studio in
Glenolden, PA.
Even though I was so young, I learned how to focus
and concentrate on what I was learning. At the age of 10, I
tested for, and achieved my black belt. I’ve had many
influences during my training; Mr. C., George Celona and Allen Anders
are just a few of the instructors that I have learned so much
from. Now, I help to train the Tiny Tigers and really like
working with these little kids. Hopefully, I can help to
influence these kids they way so many people have motivated me.
My favorite weapon to train with is the sword, and I
like being a part of the competitive Creativity Team each year. I
was named Student of the Year for 2002 and was awarded a Leadership
Award for 2003. Although winning these awards was great, the many
friends I’ve made while training at Pal Che Tang Soo Do is much
more important to me.
