Mr. Jon
Blessington, Cho Dan
Dan #34105
Jon was first inspired to train in
the Martial Arts at the age of three when he witnessed his older
brothers training at a Community Center's Karate class.
Unfortunately, Jon's parents thought he was to fragile to train
in the Martial Arts, often discouraging any interest. After
saving enough money from working, Jon began his training in early
June of 1997 under Master Ron Raver.
Jon's influences range from the legendary warriors
of old (Kibagami Jubei, Kwi Sung, Chu Yang, William Wallace) who stood
steadfast against the injustices in their land to warriors of today
(John McCain, George Bush, The Dali Lama, Chuck Pahlick) who remain
unyielding in the face of social misconduct and tyranny.
His favorite forms and techniques are the Nohanchi
Forms, and the Yup Cha Ki due to their simplicity to learn but
dedication to master.
Jon enjoys smiling and enjoying life while not
training in Tang Soo Do.
