I am a dedicated mother of three children, two of whom achieved Cho Dan in 2005.  I lived vicariously through my daughter and son, who have been training in Tang Soo Do since 2000.  I involved them at Pal Che in hopes of encouraging their interest in karate.

    My interest in the martial arts began at the age of eight, watching Elvis Presley movies.  I never lost interest in the arts along the way.  My interest peeked watching my children train.

    After two years of watching them from the side, I also joined the Tang Soo Do family! I have been training for three years at Pal Che, as of December 2004, and enjoying every minute of it. My dedication to the art helped me train through nine months of pregnancy with my daughter.

    I recently earned my black belt (September 2004) along side with two inspirational karate moms who, along with my dedicated instructors at Pal Che have helped me achieve my goal of becoming black belt.

    I can’t explain the “high” I get when I look back at my accomplishments.
